PROF. NG SEE KIONG
DIRECTOR (AI TECHNOLOGY), AI SINGAPORE PROF. OF PRACTICE, NUS COMPUTING
See-Kiong is the Director of AI Technology at AI Singapore and a Professor of Practice at the School of Computing of National University of Singapore. He is also the founding Deputy Director of the university’s Institute of Data Science. See-Kiong obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, starting his research career as one of the early bioinformaticians, using data mining and machine learning techniques to unravel the complexity of human genome networks. He has since moved on to a wide array of complex real-world application domains, with more than 130 research papers in data mining and AI across multiple disciplines.

MR NIKHIL DWARAKANATH
HEAD OF ANALYTICS, GRAB
Nikhil Dwarakanath is a seasoned Technology professional with ~15 years of experience, in the Product, Customer & Technology domain. He joined Grab in 2017 to help build the Data function for the organization. In his current role, he leads the Data & Analytics function at Grab, and works with leadership to drive data enabled strategy around Product, Business & Data Infrastructure. At Grab, he has been instrumental in institutionalizing a culture of experimentation and data led product development firm-wide and continues to champion the cause. Nikhil is also a member of the Grab Data Governance Council and helps drive compliance and governance, both internally and with regulatory agencies in Southeast Asia. Before Grab, he was an early member at Snapdeal, a horizontal e-commerce company, and helped build their entire Analytics & Data Science practice. While at Snapdeal, he also led the roadmap for Growth, Product Analytics, Search & Ads.
Outside of work, Nikhil is also extremely passionate about supporting young entrepreneurs. He currently advises, supports several early-stage start-ups in SEA. He is currently also volunteering his time on the Advisory Board at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore trying to shape the academic curriculum in Singapore and on the APAC Board of PMF.

DR. LIN MIN
PRINCIPAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST, SEA AI LAB
Min is currently a Principal Research Scientist at Sea AI Lab (SAIL), directed by Prof Yan Shuicheng.
He worked as a postdoc researcher at Quebec AI Institute (Mila) before he joined the Sea
Group. Min obtained his PhD degree from National University of Singapore in 2015, and his
Bachelor degree from Peking University in 2010.
On the fundamental side, Min is interested in online learning, generative models and the joint of these two. On the applied research side, he’s applying deep learning to various problems. e.g. scaling ab initio quantum chemistry methods, using machine learning to assist compiler optimization.

PROF. FEI FANG
LEONARDO ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Fei Fang is Leonardo Assistant Professor at the Institute for Software Research in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Before joining CMU, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Research on Computation and Society (CRCS) at Harvard University, hosted by David Parkes and Barbara Grosz. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Southern California advised by Milind Tambe (now at Harvard).
Her research lies in the field of artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems, focusing on integrating machine learning with game theory. Her work has been motivated by and applied to security, sustainability, and mobility domains, contributing to the theme of AI for Social Good.
She is the recipient of the 2022 Sloan Research Fellowship and IJCAI-21 Computers and Thought Award. She was named to IEEE Intelligent Systems’ “AI’s 10 to Watch” list for 2020. Her work has won the Best Paper Runner-Up at the Thirty-Fifth AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI’21), Distinguished Paper at the 27th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the 23rd European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-ECAI’18), Innovative Application Award at Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence (IAAI’16), the Outstanding Paper Award in Computational Sustainability Track at the International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI’15).

DR. SUNIL SIVADAS
DIRECTOR OF NEXT GEN TECH CENTRE, NCS
Dr. Sunil Sivadas is an AI Research Leader, a Product Innovator, and a Community builder. As Director, NEXT Gen Tech Centre, NCS Pte Ltd. & Deputy Director of Singtel AI Lab, Nanyang Technological University, he sets research directions and manage research teams working on Speech & NLP, Computer Vision, xR, IoT & Robotics. He is also the CSO of Ins8.ai, an incubated product for generating real-time insights from conversations.

DR. LI XIAOLI
DEPARTMENT HEAD AND PRINCIPLE
AT THE INSTITUTE FOR INFOCOMM
Dr. Li Xiaoli is the Department Head and Principal Scientist of the Machine Intellection (MI) department at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*STAR, Singapore. He also holds adjunct full professor position at School of Computer Science and Engineering, NTU. He has been a member of ITSC (Information Technology Standards Committee) from ESG Singapore since 2020 and has served as joint lab directors with a few major industry partners (DBS, KPMG, Mclaren, NEC). His research interests include AI, data mining, machine learning, and bioinformatics. He has been serving as the Chair of leading AI/data mining/machine learning related conferences & workshops (including KDD, ICDM, SDM, PKDD/ECML, ACML, PAKDD, WWW, IJCAI, AAAI, ACL, and CIKM). He currently serves as editor-in-chief of Annual Review of Artificial Intelligence, and associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with Applications (Elsevier).
Dr Li is a pioneer researcher in the following two domains:
- Positive Unlabeled learning, with more than 2,000 citations and the term Positive Unlabeled Learning was coined in his paper.
- AI based time series sensor data analytics for equipment health monitoring, with more than 2,000 citations (his top AI IJCAI 2015 paper has been cited by around 1000 times).

PROF. GONG KE
PAST PRESIDENT OF WORLD FEDERATION OF ENGINEERING ORGANISATIONS (WFEO)
Prof. Dr. GONG Ke, is President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) from 2019-2022, now the immediate past president of WFEO since March 11, 2022. Prof. GONG serves also as the executive director of the Chinese Institute of AI development Strategy.
Prof. GONG is an engineer in information communication technology by training with more than 30 years’ experience in engineering education, research and management. He has obtained the Chinese National Award for Technical Inventions and for Teaching Excellency, etc. As WFEO leader, he endeavors to unite world engineering profession to advance UN SDGs, through international joint efforts like World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, UNESCO Engineering Report “Engineering for Sustainable Development”.
Previously, Prof. GONG served as Vice President of Tsinghua University (1999-2006), President of Tianjin University (2006-2011) and President of Nankai University (2011-2018). He was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon from 2013 to 2017.
